Spiced Pineapple Pick-Ups

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. 13 oz. can pineapple chunks
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 6 to 8 whole cloves
  • 1 (4-inch) cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Day or two ahead:
  2. Drain syrup from pineapple; add vinegar, sugar, salt, cloves and cinnamon.
  3. Heat 10 minutes; add pineapple. Bring to boil.
  4. Refrigerate.
  5. Drain pineapple and serve cold.
