Spinach In A Bread Basket

A savory spinach dip served in a hollowed-out sourdough bread bowl, combining smooth mayonnaise, chopped spinach, water chestnuts, and leek soup mix for a creamy, flavorful treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
  • 1 package Knorr leek soup mix
  • 1 can water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Refrigerate for a couple of hours to allow flavors to blend.
  3. Prior to serving, cut the top off a round loaf of sourdough bread.
  4. Hollow out the inside of the bread loaf.
  5. Fill the hollowed-out bread with the spinach mixture just before serving.
  6. Serve with cubes of sourdough bread.
