Squash-Walnut Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 c. squash, cooked
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 1/3 c. honey
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves or allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  2. Spoon into 1-quart baking dish.
  3. Bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
  4. Can cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
  5. Use any kind of squash or combinations.
  6. Good with sweet potatoes.
