Steaks Stroganoff

Instructions
- In large skillet, cook and stir thinly sliced onion in 1 tablespoon margarine until tender.
- Remove onion and set aside. In same skillet add 1/4 cup shortening.
- Add floured steak and cook over medium heat until brown and crispy.
- Remove steaks and place on warm platter.
- Pour fat from skillet.
- Stir together onion, 1/2 cup sour cream and salt and pepper in skillet.
- Heat until fully warmed.
- Pour over steaks and serve.
