Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together; combine egg, milk and fat.
  2. Add to dry ingredients to make soft dough.
  3. Drop from teaspoon into broth or stew.
  4. (Should be 3 cups broth; add water if necessary.)
  5. Steam 15 minutes.
