Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. salad oil
  • 2/3 c. milk or buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients into bowl.
  2. Measure oil and milk together in a cup. Pour the milk and oil into flour mixture. Stir with fork until mixture cleans bowl and forms a ball.
  3. Knead dough until it looks smooth.
  4. Pat or roll dough out on wax paper.
  5. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 450° for 10 to 20 minutes.
