Straw Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs potatoes
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pint half-and-half cream
  • 1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and boil potatoes whole. Shred cooked potatoes inot a 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix the rest of the ingredients with the potatoes. Bake at 350* for 30-40 minutes.
  2. Preparation time includes boiling the potatoes.
