Strawberry Cloud Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. oil

Instructions

  1. Thaw and drain berries, reserving the syrup.
  2. Measure syrup and add enough water to make 3/4 cup liquid.
  3. Combine cake mix, gelatin and eggs.
  4. Beat at low speed for 2 minutes.
  5. Add oil and 3/4 cup of liquid and beat another 2 minutes (batter will be thin).
  6. Fold in drained strawberries and pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  7. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
  8. Cool.
  9. Serve with whipped cream, ice cream or a seven minute frosting.
  10. A garnish of fresh fruits makes this an attractive dessert.
