- Prepare
- through step 3. (You do not have to increase the oven temperature after removing the bread in step 1. Turn it off instead.)
- Preheat a Belgian waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions and prepare with nonstick cooking spray. Spread 1/5 of stuffing mixture across the surface of the waffle iron. Cook until crisp on both sides, about 10 minutes total.
- Transfer to a serving platter and serve with hot gravy and maple syrup, or keep hot in a 200°F (93°C) oven while you cook the remaining batches of stuffing mixture.
