- Grill 3 large Cubanal peppers, until just soft, before turning brown. Let cool. Take out seeds, and some peel that's already coming off.
- Prepare the marinade above.
- Cut the peppers into 1" strips, and immerse in the marinade for immediate use or later on. Best if served fresh or up to an hour.
- Can be served with slightly toasted pita bread.
