Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 cups raw peanuts

Instructions

  1. Put the raw peanuts, sugar, water, and a pinch of salt into a large frying pan.
  2. Stir continuously until all the water has evaporated and the mixture becomes sticky.
  3. Pour the peanuts onto a flat pan and place in an oven preheated to 300°F (150°C).
  4. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to ensure even coating.
  5. When the peanuts look dry and caramelized, remove from the oven and cool.
  6. Once cooled, serve and enjoy.
