Super Easy Apple Pie

Instructions
- Butter a 10 x 6-inch baking dish.
- Put apples in dish.
- Lay bread slices over apples, covering apples.
- Mix sugar, egg, margarine and vanilla; pour over bread.
- Bake for 45 minutes at 350°, or until apples are done and crust is brown.
- Top with grated Cheddar cheese as you remove pie from oven.
