Ingredients

  • turkey
  • 3 sticks celery
  • 1 whole apple
  • 2 large onions

Instructions

  1. Prepare turkey as usual for baking. Salt and pepper to taste. In cavity, put celery, apple and onions. Put bird on roasting rack and pour 1 quart water in pan. Put tight cover on pan. This is a must! Preheat oven to 475°. Bake 1 hour and turn oven off. Do not open oven until the next morning! Your turkey will be done and your broth ready to go into the dressing.
