Ingredients

  • 1 quart jar dill or kosher pickles
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 2 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Drain off brine from pickles.
  2. Rinse pickles with cold water.
  3. Slice pickles into strips.
  4. Repack sliced pickles into a jar.
  5. Pour water, vinegar, and sugar over the pickles.
  6. Cap the jar securely.
  7. Place in refrigerator and turn frequently until the sugar dissolves.
  8. Serve after at least 24 hours of refrigeration.
