Swiss Baked Eggs

Ingredients

  • 1 strip bacon, crisp
  • 1 Tbsp. half and half
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Swiss cheese
  • 1 egg
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°.
  2. Crumble 1 slice of bacon for each serving in custard cups.
  3. Add cream and 1 tablespoon Swiss cheese. Add 1 unbeaten egg to each dish and sprinkle with salt.
  4. Set dish in a shallow baking pan filled with water and bake 15 minutes. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon chives and remaining 1 tablespoon cheese.
  5. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until egg is set.
