Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup tamarind paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 quart strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine water, sugar, tamarind paste, and salt in a small saucepan over high. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, and let cool slightly, about 20 minutes.
