Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 4 c. water
  • 10 Tbsp. instant coffee
  • 1 1/2 c. vodka
  • 1/2 c. brandy
  • 3 Tbsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Simmer sugar, water, and instant coffee for 30 minutes in a large saucepan.
  2. Cool the mixture.
  3. Add vodka, brandy, and vanilla to the cooled mixture.
  4. Refrigerate the liqueur.
  5. Use 1 cup of the syrup for each quart of vanilla ice cream, blend until just mixed, and serve in footed goblets with a short straw.
  6. Chill goblets in the freezer before serving.
  7. Makes a super gift.
