Instructions
- Mix all ingredients.
- Add enough cold water to form a stiff ball.
- Knead until well mixed.
- Pinch off pieces the size of grapes.
- Roll into balls.
- Boil water with 1/4 onion in saucepan. Remove onion pieces and discard when the water boils.
- Pour dough balls into boiling water and cook until they rise to the surface. Takes only 1 to 2 minutes.
- Remove the balls and lay them out to cool and harden.
- They will keep for days and can be placed in dampened cloth before using to soften them up.
