Ingredients

  • 1 lb. carrots, scraped and sliced diagonally
  • 1/2 c. rum
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • dash of ground nutmeg
  • dash of ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine carrots, rum and water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender.
  3. Add remaining ingredients; toss gently until butter melts.
