Ingredients

  • 6 large tomatoes
  • 2 lemons
  • 5 lb. sugar
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 lb. raisins
  • 1 gal. boiling water

Instructions

  1. Mix fruits and boiling water.
  2. When cool, add yeast.
  3. Stir every so often for about 10 days, then let stand for at least 2 months before straining.
  4. Use plastic waste can, cover and strain through old (boiled) hose or cheesecloth.
