Ingredients

  • trout or any other game fish
  • salt and pepper
  • large lettuce leaves
  • bacon slices
  • lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Clean the fish and sprinkle the cavity with salt and pepper.
  2. Fashion double thickness aluminum foil for each fish.
  3. Place a lettuce leaf inside the foil, then add the fish.
  4. Lay a bacon slice over the fish and top with two lemon slices.
  5. Wrap and seal the foil securely.
  6. Cook on medium coals for about 15 minutes.
