T'S Peanut Brittle

Instructions
- Chop peanuts, then sprinkle with salt and warm in the oven. Mix sugar, syrup and water together, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
- Cook over moderate heat until thermometer registers 265° or a small amount of mixture forms a hard ball in cold water. Add butter.
- Cook slowly to 290°.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in warm nuts and vanilla.
- Pour on greased baking pan in thin sheet.
