  • 1 c. Tender Quick
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar cure (Morton)

Instructions

  1. Cover the meat with the mixture of Tender Quick and sugar cure.
  2. Soak in a cool place for 4 or 5 days, turning every day.
  3. Rinse the meat thoroughly after soaking.
  4. Bake or freeze as desired.
