Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Boil the milk, then beat together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla.
  2. Add the hot milk slowly to the egg mixture, mixing well, then strain the mixture.
  3. Pour the custard into baking cups or coffee cups.
  4. Place the cups in a pan with some water in it and bake in an oven at 350°F.
  5. When baked, remove from the oven and serve cold.
