Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup Heinz chili sauce
  • 2 cans whole water chestnuts

Instructions

  1. Mix together mayonnaise, brown sugar, and Heinz chili sauce in a saucepan and heat until well combined.
  2. Leave the sauce heated in a fondue pot or serving dish.
  3. Wrap each sliced water chestnut with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Place the bacon-wrapped water chestnuts on a cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven and dip the bacon-wrapped water chestnuts in the warm sauce before serving.
