Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. less 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. orange extract
  • 3 egg whites, beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. Spry
  • 3/4 tsp. almond extract

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Drop in Spry.
  3. Add 2/3 of milk, then flavorings and beat.
  4. Add egg whites and remaining milk.
  5. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes for 2 (8-inch) round pans and 15 to 20 minutes for cupcakes.
