Whole Wheat Bread (Bread Machine)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons yeast

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to your machine in the order the manufacturer suggests ~ with mine I start with liquids and end with yeast.
  2. Select whole grain cycle if you have one or the basic white bread cycle.
  3. I usually just make the dough in the machine (on the dough cycle), put it in a greased 9x5 bread pan, and bake at 350° until the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
