Winter Biscuits

Instructions
- Scald milk; add sugar, shortening and salt.
- Cool.
- Dissolve yeast in the 1/2 teaspoon sugar and warm water.
- Mix with cool milk mixture.
- Add flour to make a soft dough.
- Turn onto floured board and knead a couple of minutes until smooth.
- Place in well-greased, covered bowl in refrigerator until thoroughly chilled.
- Cut off what you will need for amount of biscuits you want.
- Let rise until double.
- Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until browned.
- Keep remaining dough in refrigerator and use as needed.
