Ingredients

  • 1 roast
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 clove fresh garlic

Instructions

  1. Place the roast in the center of a large sheet of foil.
  2. Cut slits in the roast and insert the garlic clove into the slits.
  3. Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the top of the roast.
  4. Pour Worcestershire sauce over the mushroom soup.
  5. Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the top of the roast.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add meat tenderizer according to the cut of meat.
  8. Pull the foil up and lightly seal, leaving space around the roast.
  9. Place the wrapped roast in a cake pan and bake in the oven at 250°F from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  10. Alternatively, cook in a crock-pot on low for 10 to 12 hours.
