Ingredients

  • 1 gallon small cucumbers
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons pickling spice
  • 6 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Pack 1 gallon of small cucumbers into a glass jar, preferably a 1-gallon jar.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of salt and fill the jar with vinegar.
  3. Let stand for 6 weeks.
  4. Take out the cucumbers, wash thoroughly, and cut into rings.
  5. Put the cucumbers back into the same jar.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons of pickling spice and 6 cups of sugar.
  7. Set the jar aside and shake occasionally to make syrup.
  8. You can keep the pickles in the refrigerator or transfer them into pint jars.
  9. Enjoy delicious sweet pickles.
  10. No cooking required.
