- Add 2 tablespoons of salt and fill the jar with vinegar.

- Put the cucumbers back into the same jar.
- Add 2 tablespoons of pickling spice and 6 cups of sugar.
- Set the jar aside and shake occasionally to make syrup.
- You can keep the pickles in the refrigerator or transfer them into pint jars.
