Ingredients

  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 (2 to 3 oz.) packages chocolate mousse dessert mix
  • 1 Tbsp. instant espresso powder
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 8-inch ready-to-fill graham cracker pie crust
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave or double boiler.
  2. Prepare the chocolate mousse dessert mix according to package directions, adding the instant espresso powder before beating.
  3. Scrape the melted chocolate into a medium-sized bowl. Stir in about one-third of the prepared mousse mixture and the chopped pecans.
  4. Spread this mixture evenly over the bottom of the ready-to-fill graham cracker pie crust.
  5. Spread the remaining mousse mixture over the chocolate layer, mounding slightly in the center.
  6. Chill the pie for at least 1 hour.
  7. Before serving, spread Cool Whip over the top in swirls.
  8. Garnish with chocolate shavings, cookies, or sprinkle extra chips and nuts as desired.
