3 Coconut Pies

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 3 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 to 3 c. coconut (fresh is better)

Instructions

  1. Cook all except egg whites until thick; beat egg whites until stiff.
  2. Fold 1/2 into cooled mixture.
  3. Add 6 tablespoons sugar to remaining egg whites and top pies.
  4. Brown under broiler.
