Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter or oleo
  • 1 box 4x sugar
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cream butter well.
  2. Add sugar alternating with eggs and with sifted
  3. flour;
  4. add
  5. flavoring;
  6. beat,
  7. beat.
  8. Pour into greased tube
  9. pan.
  10. Bake
  11. at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
  12. Don't open oven during the 1st hour of baking.
