- Separate eggs. With electric mixer at high speed, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- With electric mixer at medium speed, beat egg yolks until slightly thickened.
- Gradually add sugar and salt, beating until light and fluffy.
- At medium speed, add dry ingredients to egg yolk mixture, alternating with buttermilk until thoroughly mixed.
- With rubber spatula, gently fold egg whites into batter until well combined.
- Cook in aebelskivers pan.
