Almond Mini Chip Shortbread

Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
- In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and almond extract; blend well.
- Stir in small chocolate chips; pat into prepared pan.
- Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes.
- Cut into bars.
- Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
- Makes about 36 bars.
