Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
- Cut in butter until coarse.
- Add milk; mix until dough forms.
- Pat dough into 1/2-inch thick circles (handle as little as possible).
- Place on greased and floured baking sheet.
- Score in 8 to 12 slices.
- Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
- Adjust oven temperature to 350° and continue baking another 5 to 10 minutes; nice during the holidays.
