Instructions
- Sift
- together
- flour,
- soda, cream of tartar and salt. Cream oleo and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and mix well.
- Add flour
- mixture
- and
- anise
- seed.
- Mix
- until well blended. Chill
- for a couple hours for easier handling.
- Roll into balls about 1 inch and bake on lightly greased pan 10 to 12 minutes at 350°, or until lightly browned.
- Makes 3 dozen.
