Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. chopped apples

Instructions

  1. Cream together shortening, eggs and sugar.
  2. Sift together flour, salt, soda and cinnamon.
  3. Combine and add apples.
  4. Pour into greased pans.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes at 350°.
