Sweet and flaky apple roll-overs with a caramel-like glaze, featuring tart Granny Smith apples and a citrusy Mountain Dew twist, perfect for dessert or a special treat.

Ingredients

  • 4 Granny Smith apples
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 1 stick butter
  • 10 ounces Mountain Dew

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and slice them.
  2. Place 2 to 3 apple slices onto each crescent roll and roll up.
  3. Arrange the rolled crescents in a baking dish.
  4. Melt the sugar and butter in the microwave, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Pour the melted mixture over the crescent rolls.
  6. Top with Mountain Dew.
  7. Bake uncovered at 375°F for 40 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and cover with tinfoil after cooking.
