Ingredients

  • 3 cups thinly sliced apples (unpeeled)
  • 1 to 2 pounds fresh yams, cooked and sliced
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Remove skin from yams; arrange apples and yams in a shallow casserole dish.
  2. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter and pour over the casserole.
  3. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
