Apricot "Forever" Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 oz.) package dried apricots
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 (3 oz.) packages orange gelatin
  • 1 Tbsp plain gelatin
  • 1 cup hot water or fruit juice
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple

Instructions

  1. Cook apricots in 1 1/2 cups water until very soft, using juice and adding water if necessary.
  2. Stir apricots until almost a pulp.
  3. Dissolve gelatin in hot water or juice.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed.
  5. Pour into greased mold and congeal.
  6. Serves 12.
