Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. fresh asparagus
  • 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • lemon slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook asparagus in a small amount of water for 6-8 minutes or until crisp tender; drain.
  2. Place asparagus in a 12x8x2 inch baking dish.
  3. Combine melted butter and lemon juice; pour over asparagus.
  4. Sprinkle cheese and paprika over the asparagus.
  5. Place under broiler until browned.
  6. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired.
