Auntie'S Bbq Ribs

Ingredients

  • Ribs
  • 2 slabs baby back ribs
  • Homemade BBQ Sauce
  • Homemade BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup pickle juice
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce

Instructions

  1. Ribs: Cut ribs into 2 bones/section and trim off some of the excess fat.
  2. Bring 2 1/2 qts. of water in a large pot to a rolling boil. Add ribs into boiling water and bring to a rolling boil again. Turn flame down to low. Cover pot and continue to cook ribs for 45 minutes.
  3. Take ribs out and coat with Homemade BBQ Sauce. Marinate for at least 20 minutes or even overnight.
  4. Preheat grill to medium heat. Place ribs on the grill and cover. Flip ribs over to cook evenly. Grill until meat is tender and the BBQ sauce has caramelized.
  5. Homemade BBQ Sauce: Mix all ingredients together.
