Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. bacon grease
  • 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, chopped or shredded
  • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Brown onion very well in grease; add sauerkraut and brown sugar.
  2. Simmer, covered, about 20 to 25 minutes until almost dry. Especially good with sausage.
