Ingredients

  • 1 c. corn meal
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. bacon grease or margarine

Instructions

  1. Put grease in pan and melt.
  2. Combine all other ingredients and pour into pan.
  3. Bake at 450° for 15 to 20 minutes.
