Ingredients

  • 1/2 hardshell cushaw
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash the outside of the cushaw, remove all seeds, and do not peel. Cut the cushaw into 3-inch pieces.
  2. Place the cushaw pieces in a baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
  3. Cover the dish with melted margarine.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour until tender.
