Baked Cushaw

- Wash the outside of the cushaw, remove all seeds, and do not peel. Cut the cushaw into 3-inch pieces.
- Place the cushaw pieces in a baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
- Cover the dish with melted margarine.
- Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour until tender.
