Banana Chocolate Pudding

- Mix pudding mix and milk in a saucepan.
- Stir and cook over medium heat until it boils.
- Remove from heat and pour into a bowl.
- Place wax paper on the surface of the hot pudding to prevent a surface film. Chill.
- Line the bottom of a 1-quart casserole dish with vanilla wafers.
- Add a layer of sliced bananas over the wafers.
- Pour a layer of chocolate pudding over the bananas.
- Repeat layering with wafers, bananas, and pudding until ingredients are gone, ending with pudding on top.
- Chill the assembled dessert.
- In a bowl, add sugar and vanilla to heavy cream and whip until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream on top of the layered pudding.
- Serve immediately.
