Banana Sponge
Ingredients
Instructions
- Mash bananas with fork.
- Soak gelatin in water.
- Dissolve sugar in boiling water.
- Cool this mixture; stir in banana pulp. Chill the jelly until it begins to thicken.
- Whip it.
- Fold in beaten egg whites with salt.
- Fold into gelatin.
- Fill sherbet cups or a serving dish.
- Top with whipped cream with vanilla.
