Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups catsup
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons margarine

Instructions

  1. Simmer margarine and onions until light brown.
  2. Pour in catsup, water, mustard, lemon juice, and vinegar.
  3. Stir until well blended.
  4. Pour the sauce over sliced deer in a baking dish.
  5. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300°F or simmer in an electric frypan for 2 hours at 250°F.
