Ingredients

  • 1 lb sliced bacon
  • 2 cans water chestnuts, drained
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 16 oz bottle catsup

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon slices into 3 pieces.
  2. Wrap each bacon piece around a drained water chestnut and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Place the wrapped water chestnuts in a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  4. Mix brown sugar, sugar, and catsup in a bowl to make the sauce.
  5. Dip each wrapped water chestnut into the sauce, then arrange them in the baking dish.
  6. Pour the remaining sauce over the water chestnuts.
  7. Bake for an additional 30 minutes.
